Its contents will change monthly to provide you with
different ways to continuously build your Self-esteem.
This month's activity to build your Self-esteem:
Select an area of your life: career, family, recreation, social,
financial, or personal well-being in which you would like to
be more competent. Identify a specific skill or ability in that
life area that you would like to improve. Acquire a book,
coach, class, video tape or other resource that will guide you
to increase your skill or ability.
Utilize the resource daily to increase your detailed under-
standing of the skill or ability and how to apply this informa-
tion. Set aside an appropriate amount of time every day this
month to practice the skill or ability. Make this "practice"
time one of your top priorities each day, because it is vital to
increasing your self-esteem and the benefits that will result.
If possible, devise some way to measure and track your skill
or ability improvement on a daily or weekly basis. At the end
of 30 days acknowledge your improvement and do something
special for yourself to celebrate your accomplishment.
This month's affirmation to build your Self-esteem:
"I love practicing (your specific skill or ability)
and seeing my competence steadily increase."
To achieve the maximum increase in your Self-esteem, read the above affirmation aloud 7 times each morning and 7 times each evening for the next 30 days.
