This evaluation measures your present level of self-esteem, your Self-esteem Quotient (SEQ), and provides a means to measure your progress towards having high Self-esteem. For your SEQ to be valid, you must answer all statements about your beliefs about you and be completely honest in your scoring. It is critical that your responses to these statements be accurate according to how you actually behave or feel, rather than how you think you "should" behave or feel.

0 = never true or not true
1 = true only part of the time or seldom true
2 = true about half the time or fairly true
3 = true most of the time or usually true
4 = always true or completely true
